A New Leaf is a full-stack web application built with TanStack Start v1, React 19, and TypeScript. The interface is styled with Tailwind CSS v4 and uses shadcn/ui components. It is deployed through the Lovable platform.

Backend data — such as community posts, replies, feedback, saved questionnaire results, and translation caching — is stored in Lovable Cloud (a managed Supabase backend). Authentication is handled through Lovable Cloud auth, with Google OAuth available as a sign-in option.

PDF export on the result page is generated client-side using jsPDF. No server-side document generation is used, and no personal data leaves the browser during anonymous questionnaire completion.

Qur'anic references include the chapter (surah) number, Arabic name, and verse number, and link to quran.com. Hadith references include the collection, book or volume where applicable, and hadith number, and link to sunnah.com. Both sites are widely used reference platforms and are linked so readers can verify wording and context directly.

School-of-thought profiles, practices, and historical lineages are compiled from publicly available introductory and academic summaries of the major Sunni, Shia, and Ibadi traditions. The site does not claim scholarly authority; it presents mainstream descriptions and invites readers to consult qualified teachers and original texts.

The prophets timeline lists the twenty-five prophets named in the Qur'an in the order traditionally taught in Islamic education. Dating gaps between prophets are labelled as narrated, estimated, or not established, because exact chronological details are not preserved in primary Islamic sources.

The revelation timeline limits itself to firmly attested events supported by Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, or direct Qur'anic references. It intentionally does not assign dates to every chapter or verse, because most of those assignments are disputed among classical scholars.

• Lovable AI Gateway is used for on-demand translation of interface and questionnaire text into the supported languages. Translations are cached; citation and reference text is never translated and always remains in English.
• Google OAuth is used only for optional sign-in. No Google data is used for tracking or advertising.
• No analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party cookies are embedded in the site. The only local storage used is for language preference and, when signed in, session management.
